Sadness is not a problem that needs fixing.
Sadness is not weakness.
Sadness doesn’t mean you’re not masculine.
Real emotions don’t define our masculinity.
Sadness doesn’t mean you’re susceptible to being taken advantage of.
Sadness is a normal part of a healthy emotional life.
Sadness can engender love, support, and connection.
Stop judging how sad you are.
Stop determining how much sadness is normal.
Resisting sadness can:
⚡️Lead to depression.
⚡️Make you feel heavy, lethargic & tired.
⚡️Make you more anxious.
⚡️Make you think slowly, & contribute to brain fog.
⚡️Repel people.
⚡️Lead to a build up of emotions stuck in various areas of our bodies, especially our bellies.
It’s vital to learn how to integrate sadness into our lives.
P.S. Never confuse feeling sorry for ourselves, with sadness. They’re not the same.
