Finding Our Way Through Life: My Winning Formula

For some of us, navigating life means doing the best we can with what we have. For others, it’s a constant search for guidance—seeking ways to live with less suffering and more ease.⁣

I found myself on the latter path at 29, when I was facing deep turmoil in my life. It was then that I sought out great teachers who helped guide me through my healing journey. Over the years, I began to form a vision for the therapeutic work I would one day offer—an approach shaped by my own healing experiences and the teachings I received along the way.⁣

At the core of this vision is my belief that healing requires the integration of both physical and emotional modalities, particularly when it comes to addressing deeply ingrained behavioral and emotional patterns. I learned early on how essential it was to have people in my life who could see me clearly, offering reflection through a therapeutic coaching lens. Their guidance allowed me to see the ways I was being that worked for me, and the ways that didn’t. ⁣

I saw the immense benefit in changing who I was BEING in life, and not just what I was DOING. This deeper level of self-awareness and change is what drives the most profound healing and growth.⁣

In addition to these therapeutic conversations, I realized the importance of incorporating a physical modality to support the emotional work.⁣

That’s where Māori healing became a central part of my process.⁣

As someone who is naturally physical, I found that this therapeutic form of massage helped me access and release emotions that were otherwise difficult to reach through conversation alone. Māori healing allowed me to confront and work through deeply held emotions without the fear of offending anyone or the need to take care of others’ feelings. It offered a path to healing that honored and connected both my emotional and physical self.⁣

By combining reflective therapeutic work with this physical healing practice, I created a more integrated approach to personal growth—one that allows for the excavation of deeply rooted emotions and the cultivation of a holistic transformation.⁣

For those who are also searching for a similar path, I hope my experiences offer insight into how blending self-reflection, emotional, and physical work can lead to profound change.
