What’s the difference between quitting and withdrawing from an activity?
One is an avoidance in dealing with an aspect of ourselves that we’re struggling with, and the other is simply un-committing to something we’re no longer interested in continuing to do.
For those of whom do not yet possess the ability to keep their commitments, they must first learn to do that before they earn the ability to un-commit to something that no longer serves them.
When I say keep a commitment, I mean sticking to something or someone, regardless of whether or not they are feeling happy or not.
For those of whom, already know how to do this, they might need to learn how to un-commit to things or people they’ve given their word to. Learning to Un-commit is just as important to learning how to commit.
Speaking of commitment: are you looking for someone to help you stay committed to an aspect of your life (Career/money, craft, intimate relationships, family, health or body.)If so, lmk what’s going on and maybe we can discuss it.
