Contrary to popular belief, healing is about learning how to let go and integrate loss into our lives. Loss is an essential component to living a healthy life…

Sure, eating healthy foods, taking vitamins and medicines and taking care of our physical bodies is good, however deep healing will always ask us to consider what we are holding onto that is ultimately killing us.

Healing isn’t as much about what we can bring into our bodies, it’s about what we can let go of.

Some things we must learn to let go of:

Inaccurate, unhealthy & outdated beliefs, thoughts and ideas about ourselves and others, that we’ve somehow taken as truth.

Unhealthy relationships (Work, romantic, friendship & even family)

Fear.

Deep unresolved emotions like rage, resentments and regrets. Being connected to these feelings is one thing, but having these things run our lives is not a healthy way to live.

The need to be right.

The need to be seen as a victim.
